Why do I work at Kintsugi Physical Therapy and Wellness? That’s easy. I have known most of the Kintsugi family for many many years.  And they’re an all-around great group of people to work with. We have fun on a daily basis and patients love coming in for excellent treatment and the welcoming atmosphere. Basically, we all enjoy what we do, and it shows. Christi prides herself on the diversity of her crew and making sure that they all maintain a level of education and training to keep up with the ever-changing medical field. Her philosophy on work life balance resonates throughout the clinic with both the employees and the patients. Life is too short to not enjoy what you do.

I have worked at Kintsugi PT as a PTA for 3 years now.  Following Kintsugi’s philosophy of treating each person holistically & finding the driver of each patient’s symptoms has been great.  Christi the owner, is very supportive in advancing everyone’s skills as a therapist.  She holds bi- monthly mentoring sessions to teach us new skills and hosts continuing education courses at the clinic.  All therapists are welcoming and willing to share their skills.  Here at Kintsugi PT, it is like family.

Working at Kintsugi has been the best decision I’ve made since becoming a physical therapist. Although it should be standard practice to provide one on one care to patients, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to find an outpatient clinic that still provides that. Another great thing about working at Kintsugi is being able to practice how I want to and not feel limited. I have grown so much in the few years I have been at this clinic because of the opportunities for continuing education and mentorship.

Kintsugi is an amazing place!  You get to be part of a team that shares in all that makes us who we are.  All staff are available to collaborate or help answer questions. Our clients regularly tell me that Kintsugi is a great place to come, due to the kind and helpful staff that are caring and beneficial to their needs for PT and wellness.  On top of talking to the staff about Kintsugi, be sure to speak to our clients.  They are our best critics, as well as believers and benefactors from what happens in this special space. Kintsugi has been a wonderful place to work as a Physical Therapist. I feel very supported by fellow co-workers, and we strive to create a fun and welcoming environment for everybody. We are all encouraged to develop our clinical knowledge to provide the best care for our patients. We participate in fun activities throughout the year and it truly feels like a second family working here. The impact we have on the community is something that I can see continue to spread the longer I work here, and it’s great to know that through word-of-mouth people are seeking our care!

I have been working at Kintsugi Physical Therapy & Wellness for almost 5 years. It opened at time when I was feeling burned out and frustrated by corporate owned PT clinics. I did not appreciate my schedule being changed, moving patients to be double booked with a PTA to make room on my schedule for more evaluations for patients that I would not likely get to see very often for follow-ups. Kintsugi kept me in my chosen profession, the one I love and chose for myself when I was 15. Here we get to see our patients 1:1, always. I love being paid per visit. I have been able set the hours and work the days that work best for me and my family. Without Kintsugi, I would not be able to say that I have been a Physical Therapist for 31 years.

It definitely shows with the loyalty of all the staff and patients coming back when they need treatment. The owner, Christi, is super caring and understanding. Kintsugi Physical Therapy and Wellness is a great place to work. The staff feels like a family and everyone works together as a team. One thing I really appreciate is the amount of mentoring and support we get to develop our clinical skills. We are a busy clinic which is great to see a variety of clients and develop a specialty that interests you. Currently, we are paid per visit which really works well for me since there is never any shortage of patients to see. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else!
